Hi I'm Tony.I'm the owner of Prosonic Studios and the creator of Prosonic Patterns.Thousands of people from all over the world are using Prosonic Patterns and they're telling me they have:. Higher Inspiration. Improved Productivity. Increased Understanding. Expanded Expression.
And a lifetime of unique accompanyment for improv and practice sessions. And hey, I get it. They've done that for me too!We love Prosonic Patterns and I know you'll love them too.
That's why I'm giving you this risk free guarantee:If you aren't 100% satisfied with your order contact me within 90 days and I'll give you a full refund. This isn't like one of those old 'arpeggio dictionaries' in a paper book. It's a full-blown MIDI library that's over-flowing with thousands of professional, four-bar arpeggios! You'd have to purchase hundreds of 'arpeggio dictionary' books to even come close to the content in this library, and since they're all in MIDI, you can hear the Arpeggio instantly with any MIDI instrument you have. No paper book could ever do that! This collection is like having a WHOLE LIBRARY of 'arpeggio dictionaries' and you can use the Arpeggios in your own music royalty-free!Each Arpeggio is carefully crafted to follow correct harmony & voice leading rules and the result is amazing! Every inversion is included and each arpeggio is notated with MIDI marker events so that you know exactly what harmony is voiced at each spot in the sequence!
In major scales, half steps appear after the 3 rd and 7 th notes. In minor scales, half steps follow the 2 nd and 5 th notes. Major and Minor Thirds. Due to the placement of these half step intervals, the third is the first note to reveal a scale’s major or minor status. In the diatonic pattern, the third is either major or minor.
(see images below)I've experienced instant inspiration and song writing has never been easier. Each MIDI Arpeggio is like a 'creative launch-pad' for your ideas and the 'next part' in the song just leaps out at you! Begging you to take it to the next section! If you perform an instrument these patterns are an invaluable tool for learning arpeggios. I play guitar and these have instantly made me a better player. There are over 948,000 four-bar diatonic and non-diatonic arpeggios in this library and they all sound as good as the demos so be ready to stretch your sonic imagination beyond the limits! File Info & Folder Layout 1. ROOT:The first folder is the ROOT folder.
It contains all of the MIDI Arpeggios. It is named 'Midi-Arpeggio-Library' and is selected (highlighted blue). TIME SIGNATURE:Inside the ROOT folder are the TIME SIGNATURE folders. (Version 1.0 only has 4/4 at the moment. There's more to come!) We currently have the 4/4 folder selected. TONIC QUALITY:Each TIME SIGNATURE folder contains the TONIC QUALITY folders. In this case Major and Minor (both have tonic of C).
Arpeggios in Major Key are found in the Major folder and arpeggios in Minor Key are found in the Minor folder. We currently have the Minor folder selected.
CHORD TYPE:Inside the TONIC QUALITY folders are the CHORD TYPE folders. (Version 1.0 only has Triads at the moment. There's more to come!) We currently have the Triads folder selected.
PROGRESSION START:Inside the CHORD TYPE folders are the PROGRESSION START folders. These folders contain arpeggios that start on various scale degrees in the key. (Version 1.0 only starts on the first degree at the moment. There's more to come!) We currently have the 'Start at i' (tonic in minor) folder selected. CHORD STOP COUNT:Inside the PROGRESSION START folders are the CHORD STOP COUNT folders. In this case we have '4 Chords' and '8 Chords'. In the '4 Chords' folder there are arpeggios that have four chord 'stops' or 'harmonic changes' and the same for '8 Chords'.
(Except there are eight chord stops in each progression.) 7. PHRASE TYPE:Inside the CHORD STOP COUNT folders are the PHRASE TYPE folders. The 'Phrase Type' indicates how the second two measures are treated in the arpeggio's progression. In 'NoRepeat' the second two measures are different than the first two. In 'QuestionAnswer' the first two measures are the 'question' and the second two measures are the 'answer'. We currently have the NoRepeat folder selected. PROGRESSION:Inside the PHRASE TYPE folders are the PROGRESSION folders.
Each folder is named according to what progression it contains. The image below was taken in the '8 Chord' folder so that you can see it too. Notice that there are eight chord stops in each progression. HARMONIC DEFINITION:Inside the PROGRESSION folders are the HARMONIC DEFINITION folders. Each folder describes how the harmonic progression is constructed. The first two numbers show where the harmony changes in eighth notes. For example, we have the second folder selected.
It starts with 3-5. So the first chord is played for three eighth notes and the second chord is played for 5 eighth notes. The second part of the file name (the part after the ') is the Chord Inversion. 0 = Root position, 1 = First inversion, and 2 = Second inversion. Each position applies to each chord sequentially. THE FILE:Finally we are at the actual MIDI files. (Examine the file name in the above image.) The file name contains more information about the arpeggio.
At the beginning of the file (up to the ') is the Beat Grouping. So, for example, the first file (starting with '323') has a beat grouping of 3 eighth notes then 2 eighth notes then 3 eighth notes. This can be easier understood by saying, 'TaKiDa TaKa TaKiDa'.The second part of the file name (the part after the ') is the Melodic Contour. The letter 'S' means that the note stayed the same from the previous one. The letter 'U' means that the note went up and the letter 'D' means that the note went down.
The number after each letter shows how many arpeggio notes it moved. The thrid part of the file name (the part after the second ') is the arpeggio's note count (with the exception that if it's a zero '0' then it's straight eighth notes). The last number is just a unique index. MIDI CHORD MARKERS.
Midi Arpeggios FAQ What is a MIDI File? While the word 'MIDI' is used to describe a few different things. A 'MIDI file' can be thought of as 'Sheet Music in Digital'. (Sheet music that computers can read and play.) Why use MIDI loops instead of audio loops?MIDI is a superior method of music composition for a number of reasons. If you've ever used audio loops to write music you know how frustrating it can be to get them to fit just right in your song. You might find a great drum loop but how can you develop it while keeping the same drum sounds? You can only make variations on the timbre of the sound itself and that's it.With MIDI loops you have total control over every aspect of each note. Need to bring the hi-hats up in the mix? Need to change that note and make it sweeter?
Just move it where you want it! Don't like a note. Delete it!You can also use a MIDI loop on any instrument. So you can use a drum loop on any instrument (flute or violin for example) and come up with very unique and creative musical ideas! You can even change the tempo of a MIDI loop and the sound of the drums will be exactly as you sampled it. What's a 'MIDI Arpeggio'?We use the term 'MIDI Arpeggio' to mean: a four-bar musical Arpeggio (in MIDI) that is crafted to follow correct harmonic and voice leading rules. What software can I use MIDI Arpeggios in?Every MIDI Arpeggio is compatible with, and can be loaded into, any MIDI compatible software or hardware device (ie: your favorite sequencer).

United StatesI was blown away when i stumbled upon Tony's site. Even more so when i put the M.I.D.I under the microscope. The Start variation on the chords is impressive and human. The Drums have perfect velocity variations. These Packs Are opening up creativity for me. Ideas i would not come up with normally. Writers block is gone.
Better than any sample pack! And the Sessions online library is helping me with playing guitar. Tony put a lot into this, and his customer service is top notch. IndiaI was for looking some inspiration in writing, when I stumbled upon Prosonic studios website. What caught my attention was the Major and Minor Arpeggios which seems very interesting as a product. I immediately ordered it. I am extremely happy with the library as it completely meets my expectation.
This is an extensive library of Arpeggios which is extremely inspiring and now has become my go to starting point when I need some inspiration. It is well laid out and categorised very well so to find the pattern you like is very easy.
Unlike AI melody generators which are currently in the market, this library inspires you to create original stuff, instead of trying to create it for you. Hats off to you Tony, for this extensive work and wish you all the best!
CanadaI'm extremely happy with the Prosonic Midi libraries! I am currently designing my own video game, as well as its original soundtrack, and the Prosonic library allows me to explore musical expressions and ideas I had not considered or known about before, and has sped up the creation process in my DAW exponentially. As a novice musician, the Prosonic libraries have helped me immensely!
I would recommend the libraries for anyone who, like me, has struggled with musical ideas, or just wants to explore new musical territory you may not have considered. Thanks Prosonic! United StatesTony has Provided a Midi content service that I have found no equal to anywhere. There is so much content, that it can almost be overwhelming at times. It's an unbelievable value for the money.
Every imaginable progression and drum beat is at your beckon call. His Prosonic Midi browser lets me sample the midi parts I pick in any key, and in multiple octaves.a Huge benefit in my song writing endeavors.Inspiration and convenience at bargain prices, Best money I have ever spent on Midi.PERIOD! United StatesA few months ago - I started looking for resources to help me generate some kind of creative spark. I was honestly dying creative-wise. This led me to begin researching midi chord progressions on the web.
Fortunately, I found Prosonic Studios with its array of tools for today's composers. It is pretty much the motherload of midi drum patterns, chord progressions and arpeggios. Before working with these libraries - I would usually gravitate towards the same old chord progressions and arpeggios. But these libraries have allowed me to be more experimental and venture out beyond my normal routine.I was initially shocked by the sheer volume of midi patterns and progressions included in each library. Seriously - they are jam packed with midi files. I am pretty sure it would be impossible to listen to every midi file in a single library, but you don't really need to. Just take out an invisible dart and randomly audition files for inspiration (possibly your next masterpiece).I highly recommend starting out with the following two librariesAs awesome as the libraries are - Prosonic Studios' customer support is just as outstanding.
If you ask Tony a question - he doesn't just give you some canned response. He will ask you questions to clarify your needs and then take time to provide you with useful information and real solutions. If you are looking for an opportunity to expand your songwriting - Prosonic Midi Pattern libraries are a great resource to have in your toolkit. Get ready to be inspired! USAI bought the Major & Minor Arpeggio library and I must say that this library is DEEP. It's so deep that if someone were to tell me they couldn't find anything that inspired them, I wouldn't believe them. There is a pattern suited for practically every genre.I also love how everything is labeled; most MIDI libraries that I've purchased will just give me the root key, but this library separates everything from time signatures, to progressions, chord types, etc.
It just makes it easier to grab what I want for a specific section of my song without having to audition every MIDI file hoping that one of the files will fit a certain section of my project.I would easily recommend this library to my friends because it not only saves me time because everything is placed and labeled properly, but most importantly, the patterns in the library gets me creative fast! USAI purchased the arpeggios midi pack, the rap/hip-hop drum midi pack, and the chord progressions midi pack. They always give me the boost I need when I have beat block, or when I want to do something new and creative.
These are also great learning tools! I have a blast mixing and matching different patterns with new sounds and effects. I would recommend these for any artist at any level. This is definitely something you’ll want to have in your arsenal. Great job on these.
USAThe Prosonic products are wonderful. The Midi Browser makes it easy to search and audition the Midi files. Each collection is huge and filled with content that is extremely helpful and useful for music composition.Honestly no matter what genre you work in there are files here that will help you if you are stuck on whereto go next on a piece of music. They will take you places you would not get to without them. These libraries are completely worth their price.I am so thankful that I have found Prosonic. United StatesThe MIDI files are great value for money and an excellent starting point for own songs, melodies and patterns. A huge amount of working MIDI sequences are provided by the packs. The file structure is well sorted, so it is easy to find a useful and working MIDI file. Also that the MIDI files are grouped, is a big help, when using multiple files in a song.A real timesaver for each one and a lot of purposes. I use it a lot in YouTube scores, when I want a fast result and upload a video as soon as possible, without using the YouTube provided songs. Thanks for these great libraries.- Stefan.
New ZealandProsonic Midi Libraries are my go to cache of songwriting building blocks, providing the inspirational foundation for any new project.Once run through my collection of Virtual Instruments, the library used breathes life into sounds, creating a full band or even an orchestral piece.Have an idea? Open the Prosonic midi browser to audition a library and you're off to the races.
I am constantly amazed at how fast I can get an idea in my head organized into a full production of rich tones.Whether for fun or commercial use, I'm still using my libraries years after purchase and never fail to find new ways to work with them. United StatesI started using the Prosonic Studios libraries a few years ago. I own almost all of the Prosonic Libraries. They have been crucial to developing my personal music production workflow. I am able to save time and money by auditioning the different patterns and voicing variations provided in each set, rather than solely creating just a few of the files on my own from scratch.
They have helped me be more creative in expanding my sequencing and composition abilities within Ableton and the other Digital Audio Workstations that I experiment with. I recommend at least trying out one of the Time Signature and Genre sets to see the benefits of purchasing these for yourself!
FinlandArpeggios are midi files instead of audio loops and that's really good because it will give freedom to use my high quality instruments with them and choose a scale. This would not be possible if they was just audio files as most of the loop packets on the market. Composition and music production is much easier with Prosonic studios arpeggios and I can recommend them to anyone who need to get more inspiration for music production. Arpeggio melodies are very useful content. Thank you very much for this product!

United StatesA GREAT EXPANSION TO MY TOONTRACK MIDI LIBRARY!!Bought my first Prosonic Studio MIDI 4-Voices Series for the purpose of increasing my limited understanding and application of Piano-Keyboard chord progressions (since I’m not a pianist by any standard).Smile! However, I found the whole experience so fascinating, after just a few days of messing around with the MASSIVE collection of chord variations and possible progressions. Prosonic Studios do actually understand the science and language of chord formation, and have put a lot of work into producing rock-solid products for the hobbyist/musician.For Windows PC users they also include The Prosonic MIDI Browser for easy browsing of the thousands of MIDI files they provide. I personally use a Mac, and it works perfectly well with my Toontrack EZPlayer.an added bonus to my other Toontrack MIDI Files I might add!You just cannot go wrong with these products, guys! The pricing is quite affordable.and did I mention that Prosonic do offer COUPONS every now and then? United StatesThe patterns are awesome and have definitely improved the way I write songs. There are patterns from all genres that has expanded my creativity.
Everything is on point. Thanks again. I really enjoyed the variety that I had to call from. I have been able to publish my music on Spotify and iTunes where people from all over the world have been able to find me.
This has been a real blessing for me to find these patterns because I was really struggling to come up with my song structure including verse and hook. United KingdomThanks for the resource of these midi loops. The descriptions were good, genres accurate and payment checkout and download were a breeze.I have bought many midi loops over the years as I’m neither a drummer or a keyboard player, quality varies wildly. You also never really know what your going to get until you start using them.I have found your loops to be very versatile and intuitive and very well catalogued. They were instantly useable giving inspiration and opening up possibilities I hadn’t considered before.I would have no hesitation in recommending these loops to anyone.Keep up the good work. NetherlandsI was initially worried about the quality of the Prosonic Libraries and I always thought they were really expensive. However, I was amazed when I listened to the free drum loops and Mp3 demos. I’m now converted and am the proud owner of 3 Prosonic Libraries, Reggae & Ska Drum Beats, 4-Voices in Simple Rhythm & Common Time Signatures and Major & Minor Arpeggio Patterns.
The midi loops can easily be loaded and played in my DAW Ableton or another DAW of choice. It is well worth your money. United StatesProsonics Midi patterns are comprehensive, easy to use, and help give me inspiration when I just can't find the right beat. The drum patterns are especially useful in Superior Drummer, and add a complete new toolkit to compliment the stock beats. The customer service is great, and the website makes my purchased patterns easy to download again if my computer crashes, which it has several times. The pricing is good, and you get a wide selection of beats for the money. I recommend Prosonics to anyone looking to improve the width of their MIDI library.
United StatesTony Pappas' Prosonic Studio MIDI Libraries are fantastic. They have been a great tool for me to use in Ableton Live (they will work in any DAW). They are clearly organized by time signature and style and come with complete song/theme sections and also they are broken down into component parts (kicks, rides, snares, etc.) so very easy to drop in what you need. Since they are standard.mid files they are very easy to use as a starting point to get your groove on, then you can easily modify them in your DAW of choice to fit your track as needed. The Chord progression and arp libraries are extensive. Seems like millions of files, lol.
Practically every chord progression known to man. And even some that aren't. Very easy to find inspiration and song ideas here. JapanThe website of Tony is simple and easy to understand. The MiDI file of Chord Progressions is my favorite.
It is very useful for studying composition.I am using them with Toontrack's EZ KEYS.I can use them to make my songs very rich. Thanks Tony! The length of the MIDI file is also very easy to use.Tony 's MIDI browser also functions as a player and is free, but very useful software. I manage a lot of My MIDI files with a MIDI browser.I hope that Tony will continue to make MIDI files that many music lovers will continue to enjoy. United StatesWhen ever I get around to making music within a very busy schedule, I often find myself stuck with writers block.
Sometimes I would just drag and drop a midi chord progression from one of my Prosonic studios libraries right into my DAW for some quick inspiration. This is also a plus for me because I don’t know how to play chords on my own. Using this product in a way gives me a sense of collaborating with a other musicians. These patterns are organized well and are a great help in my work flow.
Great tool to have! United StatesThe 4 voice chord progressions (for basic time signatures) is so useful in coming up with an initial inkling or inspiration for sections or even entire song foundations.
I will likely get the complex time signatures down the road. The arp patterns have an incredible variety to choose from in both major and minor keys (with many combinations I've never even heard before). The sheer number of choices available can actually be overwhelming at times but its far better too many than not enough. Both would be legit tools for beginners and a good reference library for the more advanced musician. AustriaGreat Midi Chord Progressions and Arpeggios! If you are looking for inspiration for chords and melodies this is great!I produce Hip Hop and sometimes I don't want to play the keys, so I pull in the Chords or Arpeggios and start from there.Thats why I love using Prosonic Chord Progressions - just drag and drop the midi files into your daw and get some very nice Chord Progressions and Arpeggios - very easy!!!Support is also very good, replies very fast!Great work, Prosonic - I am a happy customer! The viewer is easy to navigate and very user friendly.Prosonic Studios products are great and I can easily state that they are truly the best value out there and I am never disappointed in the midi loops they offer.I highly recommend any of the Prosonic Studio offerings and I am sure you will love anything you purchase as well. GermanyI bought the MIDI Arppeggio Series Major and Minor roughly 2 years ago and got a free update in 9-2016. I use(d) it quite often within different PC DAWS (Cubase, Musicmaker, Samplitude, Cakewalk.) but also on iOS (focus Cubasis) and with my HW-Synths.Why did I buy it?. idea2soundit helps me to get better bass lines, hooks and moving soundscapes.
productivitymuch faster to get to my expected result / incl. Any adaption I want100% recommendation to buy / worth each centGreat Job, Tony!! Really great.
AustraliaI'm a big fan of the midi drum kits on this site. If I have a lack of inspiration I can always just drop some midi files down and play around.
If I am feeling inspired, I can take these midi files and transform them entirely. If you are familiar with your DAW, then you should understand the vast possibilities that begin with midi files. The drum beats give a good fundamental structure to which you can slice and dice and edit to come up with beats like you never heard before, really cool!I also like how any of these files can easily be personalised to become your own creation. United StatesI used ProSonic's triads and chord progressions to help me in my compositions of electronic music. They were so much fun to put into my soft synths and get my creative juices going. These libraries were some of my 'go-tos' when I got into a creative funk. I was amazed by the depth and breadth of the libraries.
I would highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in coming up with some unique ideas or who would like to explore some new or interesting melodic or rhythmic ideas.Keats Handwriting. United StatesSo far, I've purchased two libraries from Prosonic, one of chords progressions and one arpeggio package, and I'm amazed at both the quality and quantity of the patterns here.Whether you're looking for some ideas for chord progressions or want to build an entire song from scratch, these libraries have you covered. The price is also pretty nice, considering that it would only buy you a fraction of this number of patterns on many similar sites. I've hardly scratched the surface of my first two but I can't wait to get my next library! United StatesI am a songwriter with limited ability to play piano and drums, and these midi files have really been a lifesaver. I've used both the midi chords and arpeggios for organ and piano on my songs.Lately I've experimented with importing the midi into EZKeys and changing the chords and mixing it up with the midi that comes with EZKeys.
I've also learned a lot about arpeggios and chord voicings by opening the midi in Sibelius and looking at the patterns and voicings and trying to play them on piano.Although I haven't purchased the midi drum beats yet, I hope to buy the libraries soon and use them in EZDrums-you can never have too many midi drum tracks!Recently I've discovered Prosonic Sessions, and I can highly recommend it if you want to learn more about progressions, arpeggios, and where to play them on guitar and piano. Looking forward to more. United StatesThese progressions were assembled with both talent and mathematical precision. Laid out in logical sequences, it's a snap to find what you are looking for. They are arranged in small enough chunks to fit easily into my Yamaha's annoyingly arcane file system. With such a massive quantity and variety of clips you should always be able to find sounds with precisely the mood and nuance you seek.As a teaching tool they are invaluable. You can hear the subtle effects that small (or large) changes have on perception and use these in subsequent efforts. This is one of those rare times when a product that I didn't even know existed has instantly gained a prominent position in my musical toolbox.
Thanks Prosonic! CanadaI find these patterns extremely invaluable. I have been poking around Loop Pack sites and subscription services for the ideal midi patterns for ages and always had to shell out lots of money just to get some that 'will do for now'.Tony has taken on a gargantuan task, a labor of love coming up with sequences that work very well together and that will fit in admirably with anyone's music producing needs. They also help a lot when you have music writer's block.
It's a great starting point to what could be your next masterpiece or hit. Well done Tony! United StatesExcellence only, and all so good. I have used these libraries so many times for all my needs.
Everything, from drum beats, chord progressions to arpeggios. All together, I don't need anything else but Prosonic libraries for all my projects. Being creative today with so many software solutions (DAW) to build good music considers having a good foundation that you can use to extend it with own ideas. And Prosonic has it all to build good music on patterns and ideas provided by Prosonic. Thank you Tony so much for such great work.
United StatesI have purchased and regularly now use several Prosonic Midi LibrariesThey are inestimably helpful in sparking ideas, developing harmonic progressions, and inspiring melodies that take my original ideas into new directions. There are so many variations in these libraries that musicians from practically any genre should find them to be extremely useful. And they should be particularly helpful to people trying to understand harmony, composition and music theory.I give the libraries a big thumbs up!- Ken Herbst. United KingdomI purchased my first Prosonic Libraries 2 or 3 years ago and still find them a superb reference point when looking for interesting drum patterns and also when hunting out chord progression variations.I highly recommend the triad and 4-voice chord progressions. The libraries are huge and represent amazing value for money - the chord progressions are exhaustive and I will guarantee that you won't find anything out there to match this unique offering. On top of all the above Tony is very responsive to any requests and very helpful. Thanks Tony! TongaWith every collection purchased, I was never disappointed. I appreciate the value for money of each library. I highly recommend Prosonic Libraries to all music producers.
The libraries make it much easier to start producing and with a wide variety of genres there is something available for everyone. The file and folder structure also makes it a breeze to find exactly what your looking for and even if you have little or no musical background (like myself) its not difficult to begin composing using Prosonic Libraries. Don't think just buy! AustraliaI have been using Prosonic midi libaries for a couple of years and find them invaluable. I will often start with one of the Prosonic templates as a base and build a song from there. I have used in Ableton, Pro Tools and Native Instruments Maschine Studio.I will also say the drum patterns were extremely useful as a learning tool when first getting my head around creating realistic drums for my computer based music.
I had never played the drums before and other midi patterns I picked up elsewhere were very basic and did not provide much variety. United StatesI do not consider myself an especially creative person.
But with the Prosonic libraries I can still make music! They provide the 'get me started' building blocks that I use with my Digital Audio Workstation midi software to expand into full pieces. Transpose, copy 'n' paste, edit here and there, assign instruments to the tracks, and there I am - a complete work! With assurance that 'the notes go together', which is an important benefit for someone like me who has only limited music theory. Don't let that hold you back!I especially like the drum beats, though. And the syncopation options Prosonic provides give me plenty of opportunity to 'mix it up' and avoid falling into a simple, boring 4-4 beat.Thank you Prosonic Studios! United KingdomI've been using Prosonic Studios libraries, and I can assure that you will never run out of ideas. From arpeggios to chord progressions, these midi libraries are great; it will help you from the compositional block. I haven't used the drums library yet but coming from Prosonic Studios is a guarantee of quality. It doesn't matter if you are an amateur or a seasonal writer these libraries are an excellent tool to add to your collection. The quality of the patterns, the ease of the software installation and the honesty from Tony makes these libraries a must have for any serious composer.
SpainProsonic Studios libraries provide what can only be descibed as a mind blowingly extensive catalogue of chord progressions and arpeggios. The wide ranging and comprehensive list of libraries will present you with instant inspiration and will provide you with a rapid way of getting a song started no matter what style or genre of music you produce or play.If for any reason I am stuck for an idea or have a dose of writers block, I always turn to Prosonic Studios to get my creative juices flowing. United StatesThe MIDI libraries you get at Prosonic Studios are HUGE! Plenty of inspiration provided in these packs!I can only imagine the amount of time that went in to organizing the files, let alone the time it took to create them. These aren't your average MIDI packs. They've made sure you get your moneys worth!I currently use them in FL Studio, but they work in any DAW/program that allows you to import MIDI files. You also get lifetime updates for the packs that you purchase. The customer support at Prosonic Studios is excellent!Thank you!
United StatesProsonic midi libraries are great starting material for manipulating midi in Ableton Live (and I assume other programs as well). They will enhance your creativity as opposed to limiting it if you have enough of an imagination and a playful spirit. Throwing together a mock-up or prototype is fast and easy. The inspirational kick-starts I get from these sessions have fueled countless song ideas. It's the collaborative partner I've always wanted. The value for the price is second to none. The possibilities are endless. Thank you for your work! United StatesThis is one of the best products I have ever used in my musical career. It helps me on almost every track, even if I don't use that exact progression it inspires and gives me a great place to move forward. It gives you a great starting place for your productions. The only problem i ever had was moving the unzipped midi files to a new drive.
There are so many of them that it took 7 hours to move them all. This is not a negative, it is awesome you get so much content for so little. I don't understand how he is able to come up with so much. United KingdomI utilise Prosonic Studios Major/Minor Arpeggios regularly in my compositions, along with Techno House Drums. I found the process, quality and ordered layout of the installed files a joy to work with. The amount of workable files received was beyond my expectation, giving me plenty of options when looking for that little something special not found in many other packs I have utilised from elsewhere.I can wholeheartedly recommend Prosonic Studios packs, and if your unsure they have plenty of free downloadables to get you started and hear how a small portion of the pack will sound for you. United StatesI have been so blessed using the midi provided by prosonic studio it has really opened up my creativity. I have purchased 4-voices in simpleRythm & common time sigs volume 1-4 and also The drum Patterns Rap and hip hop and also Reggae and ska that has giving me thousands and thousands of midi progressions to inspire me and with all of that inspiration it has really taking me out of the Plateau i was finding myself in.
I recommend this midi patterns to any producer who wants to be inspired and speed up there work flow. United StatesReally a source of inspiration!I'm a composer of progressive rock music and use the apreggions to set up sophisticated guitar and bass guitar riffs.I design the riffs by using several arpreggios of the same signature/chord type/progression, decompose them and put them in a different way together. Or I use for bass, guitar and keyboard different arpreggios and let them 'run against each other'. The result is very inspiring! The Prosonic Midi Browser is a brilliant tool to navigate in the folder structure of the apreggios without getting lost;-) Great Job! United StatesI often use the '4-Voice MIDI Chord Progressions' as an Inspiration or as a starting point.
It is also useful for me to practice Improvisation.I'm really impressed about the large amount of Chord Progressions. It's great to use them with Instruments which can play Arpeggios from Chords.I also like the 'Major & Minor Arpeggios' which I often use in my Vienna Instruments Pro Midi Sequencer (you can import Midi-Files.).I also like that all future versions are free for Life.It took some time to find something like this. I dont't use it every time, but for me it's like a secret weapon. NetherlandsVersatile inspiration.
And so much choice. Take an initial pattern, reverse it, change scales, combine with others, keep it simple or make it complex but make it your own. You're never short of ideas when you dive into Tony's amazing libraries of patterns. Start with a template, trigger a MIDI instrument or a VST in your DAW with multiple patterns at half, single or double tempos at once, add new elements and create the ultimate fugue. Thanks for building such an extensive catalogue Tony. Best wishes and success, Alan.
